I've just wanted to share with you peeps the new member flowering plant in my mini garden, the Dendrobium-Cattleya WhiteViolet Orchid. I bought this orchid for about P150.00 pesos only from one of the flower gardens in 2012 Mother's Day Flower Exhibits at SM Cebu. Accordingly, the name Dendrobium is from the Greek dendron ("tree") and bios ("life"); it means "one who lives on trees". Dendrobium is a huge genus of orchids and grows in diverse habitats throughout much of south, east and southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Borneo, Australia, New Guinea, Solomon Islands and New Zealand.
